After touring in Quebec and Europe as Dracula, followed by a successful foray into Jazz with the GrosZorchestre, which earned him a Félix for Jazz Album of the Year, Bruno Pelletier is more than ready to sink his teeth into 2009!

February will mark the anticipated release of his new album of original songs, as well as the 25th year of his musical career. The three‑time winner of the coveted Félix for Best Male Vocalist is also celebrating a milestone of two million albums sold, tangible proof of a passionate and enduring commitment to his art.
To highlight a quarter century dedicated to song, Bruno Pelletier is planning an impressive Quebec tour that will start off with a bang at the Cabaret du Casino from April 8 to April 25, performing no less than 12 shows!

Steeped in his own tradition, he will soon grace the stage in a fever of emotions to present a new show featuring original songs, greatest hits, songs from musicals in which he appeared, including a few detours into his rock roots. Needless to say that Bruno looks forward to another great rendez‑vous with his most faithful and devoted fans of the past 20 years. This show is a must-see!

Bruno Pelletier : Le retour

Déjà plus de six années sont passées depuis la dernière tournée solo de Bruno Pelletier « Un monde à l’envers ». Cette longue absence s’explique par sa participation à divers projets tous plus stimulants les uns que les autres (Dracula – Entre l’amour
et la mort, Bruno Pelletier et le GrosZorchestre) lui ayant valu plusieurs reconnaissances et nominations. C’est en force qu’il nous revient cette année avec un album de matériel original et un tout nouveau spectacle. Bien ancré dans sa propre tradition, il y présente ses plus grands succès (Miserere, Aime, Le temps des cathédrales …), des extraits des comédies musicales auxquelles il a participé, ses interprétations de grandes chansons du répertoire francophone (La chanson des vieux amants, La Manic…), sans oublier un détour vers ses racines rock.

C’est donc avec fébrilité et émotion que Bruno s’apprête à renouer avec ce public qui lui est fidèle depuis déjà près de 20 ans! Il y a fort à parier que cette belle histoire entre le chanteur et son public se poursuivra encore longtemps.
